I have been writing since I was a child but didn’t publish anything except newsletters for various clubs as well as being public relations person for a few. After attending several creative writing classes at IUS and writing workshops, I decided I was ready to tackle the world. I’m still not sure the world is ready to accept me or my writings. Two of my novels are historical romances, one before WWII and the other during WWII. The thrid book is the true story of my childhood. I have never been a typical child nor adult. At 79 years of age, I refuse to sit in a chair and watch TV. However, if by chance, my readers’ prediction should come true and my first book becomes a Hallmark Movie, you can bet your bottom dollar, I’ll be in front of the TV along with everyone I have ever said hello to. I look forward to meeting each and every one of my fellow authors and having a lot of fun at That Book Place on March 17.. My books are feel good, easy read, and faith based books that can be read by 12 year olds and up. My childhood can be read by an 8 year old. ![]() Tracy R. Chowdhury Tracy R. Chowdhury Tracy R. Chowdhury was born in the small town of Tunkhannock, Pennsylvania in 1975. The oldest of five siblings, she spent much of her childhood in imaginary play, always fascinated by the possibility of magic, and intrigued by dragons, fairies, unicorns, and other mystical things. Even at a very young age she was interested in writing. In 1998, Tracy graduated from the Miami University with a degree in Zoology. Later the same year she married her husband, Abdul Gaffar. For a while she worked at the Cincinnati Zoo, but then moved on to the University of Cincinnati to work in cancer research. Meanwhile, throughout the years she never lost interest in writing. In 2000 Tracy began writing in earnest. With ideas taken from an AD&D campaign mastered by her good friend, Ted Crim, she developed a story that took her over five years to write. Shadow Over Shandahar – Child of Prophecy was published in 2005. The second installment of the duology, Warrior of Destiny, was published in 2007. Since then, Tracy and her co-author have written the first novel in the second duology, Dark Mists of Ansalar – Blood of Dragons, a story that takes place approximately thirty years after the first duology. Two short stories have also been published in a new series of anthologies called Missing Pieces. Currently there are two volumes and more are planned to follow. Tracy currently lives in Cincinnati, Ohio with her husband, four children, and sphynx cat. She and Ted are currently working on the second installment of the dark Mists of Ansalar duology, a novel that will be making its debut this August. ![]() Ted M. Crim Ted M. Crim Ted M. Crim was born the oldest of three children in Cincinnati, Ohio. As a young boy, he remembers being quite the adventurer, but it wasn’t until he was about thirteen that he became introduced to the world of Dungeons and Dragons. He was in the seventh grade, it was his first campaign, and it fascinated him. Very quickly it became a hobby, and for several more years he played in various other campaigns with a good group of friends. When Ted graduated high school, he realized he had a knack for handling animals. For a few years he worked at the Cincinnati Zoo, but after a while decided to broaden his horizons. It was in 1998, while working as a technician for a veterinary clinic, that he met Tracy Chowdhury. He found they had a lot in common, and it wasn’t long before they became friends. She enjoyed Dungeons and Dragons as well, and they began gaming together. Soon after, Tracy began writing down the details of the adventure as they happened in role-play, and several years later the first novel, Shadow over Shandahar – Child of Prophecy, was published. Currently Ted continues to reside in Cincinnati and lives with his younger sister. He enjoys being the male role model for her three children, two nieces and a nephew. Every year he attends the Ohio Renaissance Festival and sells the books he helped to develop. He is also working on making the World of Shandahar into an RPG all its own. One day he even hopes to see the books made into animated novels, and maybe even into film! |

She was bitten by the writing bug at the tender age of three when she wrote her first story, in chicken scratches, about an Easter chicken. Her mother kindly translated it and saved it. At present she has four completed novels in her Warrior Queen Series and is working on the fifth about Rani of Jhansi from India. She is almost finished with her novel (that’s out of the Warrior Queen Series) called For the Love of King Tut about the women who try to keep him from being assassinated. Haley has just completed a modern “clash of cultures” novel called Goodbye India about an American journalist who falls in love with a drop dead gorgeous Indian man. Problems arise. Can she overcome his family to have the man of her dreams? Can she overcome her family to have the man of her dreams? Nope, she can’t. Or maybe she can. There are a few hilarious adventures that keep her in trouble. Haley gave up civilization to live in a cabin in the West Virginia mountains. She owns 120 acres of trees, rocks and a noisy creek that has no bridge. Only four wheel drive vehicles can get to her place. It’s 23 miles to a gas station and a small grocery store.
